Civil Engineer Project Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled recent graduate in Civil Engineering or Construction to join our team at Belmonte Group. This role is critical as it involves supervision, coordination, monitoring, as well as developing and managing plans and diagrams. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in engineering principles and demonstrate ability in both technical and soft skills, which are essential to maintaining the high standards of our projects.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate construction activities, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations.
- Monitor project progress, assess risks, and report on construction activities to ensure timely project completion.
- Collaborate in the development and management of architectural plans and engineering schematics, ensuring accuracy and feasibility.
- Utilize AutoCAD and other engineering software to create, modify, and interpret technical drawings while adhering to project specifications.
- Assist in enforcing compliance with PRL (Prevention of Risk at Work) regulations and safety standards to maintain workplace safety.
- Effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders in both English and French, facilitating smooth project operations.
- Work closely with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure projects stay within budget and meet quality standards.

Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in civil engineering or construction, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD and other construction management software. Understanding of engineering principles and practices.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English; verbal and written communication skills are essential. Spanish is a plus.
- Knowledge of PRL: Familiarity with PRL regulations and safety practices in construction.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to think critically under pressure.
- Team Player: Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated and capable of working independently.
PREFERRED: Experience in light transportation projects (e.g., box transportation) or similar, even if through internships.
Driver's license and own vehicle required.
