Python Backend Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Python backend engineer to become a vital member of our development team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and enhancing the backend for a cloud-based platform that incorporates our open-source technologies, enabling users to utilize our models across various applications.
- Developing resilient and scalable backend systems that facilitate the integration of Mistral AI models into diverse use cases, including chatbots, search engines, document processing, and more.
- Creating developer-focused tools, such as performance dashboards and evaluation interfaces, to improve product interaction and monitoring capabilities.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Demonstrated experience in Python, particularly in backend development using Django and/or FastAPI.
- Proficiency in database technologies like Postgres or Redis, with a strong focus on optimizing data storage and retrieval processes.
- A solid understanding of infrastructure, continuous integration, and continuous development practices.
- A keen interest in applying backend development skills to AI-driven solutions, potentially involving large language models.
- The capability to independently design high-quality solutions centered on backend systems while considering the overall user experience.
- A willingness to quickly adapt to new technologies in a fast-paced development environment.
- A desire to deepen understanding of AI software intricacies and contribute to the team with backend development expertise.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role within our AI engineering team, working closely with the team lead to advance the development and implementation of innovative products. You will leverage your backend skills to influence the future of AI-powered applications, collaborating with a dynamic team to transform ideas into reality.

Compensation: starting salary is 80,000€ and is aligned with experience.
