As a prospective Lead Real Estate Asset Strategist, you will join a dedicated team of 9 professionals focused on the management and enhancement of a substantial office portfolio.

DISCOVER your opportunity Key Responsibilities:

The Lead Real Estate Asset Strategist will play a pivotal role in overseeing a large office portfolio, acting as a crucial liaison between the Property Manager and the Investors. You will be tasked with formulating and executing optimal value creation strategies for each asset within your portfolio, which includes:

  1. Establishing the asset strategy aligned with investors' objectives: focusing on rental optimization, selective divestitures, and expanding the portfolio through strategic acquisitions (primarily forward sales).
  2. Implementing an ESG strategy that adheres to internal guidelines to enhance the decarbonization efforts of each asset.
  3. Developing annual business plans that encompass action plans and corresponding financial models (DCF), securing approval from investors or the Investment Committee, and overseeing the execution of the action plan.
  4. Crafting investment memorandums for acquisitions via forward sales and presenting them to the Investment Committee.
  5. Preparing, optimizing, and monitoring the asset budget (including revenues, operating expenses, and capital expenditures) in collaboration with property managers or asset operators.
  6. Overseeing forward sales, including pre-leasing periods and asset deliveries.
  7. Conducting oversight of external valuations.
  8. Monitoring asset KPIs and contributing to investor reporting.
  9. Managing property managers and all external service providers associated with the asset.
  10. Supervising property management, addressing tenancy issues, claims, and potential legal disputes with legal advisors, and negotiating leases and renewals.
  11. Collecting and analyzing all pertinent and updated data/documentation at the asset level (technical, legal, tax, and commercial) to ensure legal compliance and asset liquidity.
  12. Proposing relevant product developments or asset repositioning strategies.
  13. Overseeing refurbishment or development initiatives in coordination with internal and/or external development specialists.
  14. Establishing and executing ESG action plans.
  15. Coordinating with all internal and external stakeholders, representing the investor in co-ownership scenarios.
  16. Preparing and managing asset disposals (including data rooms, valuations, RFPs, etc.).
  17. Supporting investment underwriting processes led by the Acquisitions teams and facilitating the onboarding of new assets.
