Care Partner

Overview:
Spring Living Retirement Communities is a leading provider of senior living services, operating 14 retirement communities in Ontario and Quebec. Our mission is to create warm, welcoming, and secure environments for residents, fostering caring connections and providing personalized services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene and basic care, to residents in accordance with our organization's vision and mission.
- Observe and report any changes in residents' status to the RPN/Wellness Nurse and/or the Director of Health and Wellness.
- Perform other transferred functions, such as unregulated administration, as assigned.
- Assist with dining service, recreation program support, and common area housekeeping in varying locations.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma and completion of an accredited Personal Support Worker program that meets legislative standards.
- Unregulated Administration certification or willingness to complete upon hire.
- First Aid and CPR certified, with experience in unregulated administration.
- Six hundred (600) hours of related experience, including both class time and practical experience, preferably in a geriatric setting.
- Courses in gerontology, aging, or dementia are an asset.
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills required.
