Role Overview
In the development department, under the guidance of the Latam Zone Manager, your responsibilities will encompass:
- Preparing and overseeing Expressions of Interest (EOIs) and proposals.
- Identifying and tracking the project pipeline within the region: engaging in projects of varying scales and types, either as a project manager or a contributor. This includes direct client interaction, ensuring successful project delivery, and supervising technical assessments pertinent to your area while accommodating specific client requirements.
- Representing the organization at technical conferences and fostering relationships with international and regional funding bodies.
You will also assist the Zone Manager with overarching and strategic matters.
Your activities will focus on water and sanitation, waste management, and energy sectors, encompassing comprehensive studies, technical support, and project oversight. You will thrive in a multicultural, multilingual, and diverse standards environment.
Candidate Profile
Holding a degree in Environmental Engineering (specializing in water and sanitation, waste, or energy), you should possess over a decade of international engineering experience on projects supported by multilateral and bilateral funding organizations.
Essential skills include:
- Conducting studies, project monitoring, and responding to tenders for both public and private sector clients, as well as international funding agencies.
- Managing projects (including budget, technical aspects, and resource allocation).
- Executing studies: technical assessments, master planning, and managing delegated services for municipalities (in the areas of water, waste, and energy).
A keen interest in development and sales strategies is vital, along with attributes such as meticulousness, organization, coordination, dynamism, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent writing proficiency in French, English, and Spanish.
