Engineer in Image Analysis for Cell Death and Epithelial Homeostasis Research

Our research group at the Institut Pasteur in Paris, France is seeking an engineer in image analysis to join our team. We are interested in the fine tuning of cell death in epithelial contexts using Drosophila as a model system.
We use a wide range of live imaging techniques and develop new tools to quantitatively dissect the feedback fine tuning of cell death. Our group has developed various pipelines for image analysis, including z reconstruction, segmentation, tracking, and automatic recognition of cellular events through deep learning.
We are looking for a candidate with good coding knowledge, expertise in machine learning applied to image analysis, and a real interest in collaborative work. The applicant will join a dynamic and supportive group that promotes a healthy work-life balance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new pipelines for image analysis, maintaining and updating existing pipelines, and assisting in the quantitative analysis of our datasets.
We are committed to sharing our knowledge and expertise with the scientific community and are looking for a candidate who is passionate about data management, code writing, and data sharing.
