Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning: Collaborates in the formulation of the Marketing Business Plan, ensuring that divisional objectives effectively address the operational goals of the hotel and the needs of our team members.
Event Management: Develops, tracks, and assesses all objectives related to events, working closely with the Director of Food & Beverage and the Director of Sales to meet or exceed projected revenue targets.
Operational Excellence: Implements operational standards as outlined in corporate manuals, positioning the hotel as a leader in innovative event sales.
Guest Experience: Regularly evaluates guest service standards to ensure compliance with brand expectations and to surpass market expectations.
On-Site Oversight: Actively participates in each event to guarantee that it is executed to the highest standards by the Event Service team and supporting staff.
Revenue Optimization: Continuously identifies opportunities to enhance revenues and profits through effective cross-selling and up-selling of additional services and facilities.
Market Awareness: Ensures that all team members in the Events Sales Department are knowledgeable about market trends and that their offerings align with these insights.
Team Development: Responsible for recruiting, selecting, motivating, and training Events Sales associates, fostering a culture of multi-skilling and versatility in operational, financial, and administrative practices.
