At Thales, we design and develop cutting-edge systems for air traffic control, air defense, and naval combat. Our team in Rungis is a hub for innovation, with over 1000 employees working on radar, air traffic control, and advanced weapons systems.
About You
We're looking for a skilled professional with experience in algorithmic solutions design and performance validation through simulations. You should have a strong background in signal processing or control systems, and proficiency in Matlab/Simulink is required. As a bonus, experience in defense systems, such as radar sensors, communication systems, and missile command and control, would be a valuable asset.
About the Role
As a world leader in airspace surveillance and operations solutions, our Integrated Airspace Protection Systems (IAS) Business Line enables nations to secure their airspace sovereignty. The Modeling & Performance service is responsible for defining and designing algorithmic solutions to ensure the performance of weapon systems required by customers. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting algorithmic processing studies for air defense
- Defining and developing simulation methods to model system behavior for performance evaluations
- Validating algorithm performance in simulations in collaboration with system engineering teams
- Controlling costs, deadlines, and the quality of produced elements
