We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Lutron Electronics Co., Inc. as a Lighting Control Specialist. As a key member of our Field Service team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our clients in the field, ensuring that our advanced lighting systems are commissioned properly and serviced post-installation.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide top-notch customer service to Lutron customers in the field, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- System Servicing and Troubleshooting: Become proficient in servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing Lutron Systems while following field service procedures.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate with on-site contractors, lighting designers, and facility managers to ensure proper system installation and handover.
- Sales and Upselling: Sell Lutron's service products, such as service contracts, and system upgrades to customers.
- Technical Support: Support the Technical Support team when needed, providing expert technical assistance to customers.
- Customer Education: Participate in Customer Education sessions, sharing your knowledge and expertise with customers.
- Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Computer Science desirable.
- Experience: 3-5 years of Electrical and construction site experience, with 3-5 years of hands-on Lighting/AV commissioning experience.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills, with the ability to travel frequently, including other countries within Europe.
- Language: Fluency in English and French (other languages an advantage).
