Join our team as an: IT Engineering Apprentice

You will be integrated into the Brake Business unit's engineering team, focusing on the development of innovative products and technologies related to advanced braking systems and automated parking solutions. As a Software Model-Based Implementation Engineer, your role will involve defining and creating the control software for electromechanical brakes and parking systems.

Key Responsibilities

In the context of new project implementations, we are seeking an apprentice or a student on a gap year to engage in software development. Your mentor will be the Solutions Architect and Master Data Specialist. Your tasks will include participating in the development, architecture, and integration of solutions across various business domains.

In summary:

  • Assist in project management (tracking timelines and outstanding tasks)
  • Participate in requirements gathering and drafting functional specifications
  • Create documentation (technical, functional, architectural...)
  • Develop solutions (particularly in our Business Intelligence tools, process automation, and master data management)

Candidate Profile

For the upcoming academic year, you are looking to pursue a Master's degree in Computer Science, specializing in software engineering (development, application architecture) through an apprenticeship or gap year.

You should possess solid knowledge in programming applications (JAVA, Web, .NET, Web services, Scripting, etc.) and architecture (SOA, etc.).

Required Skills

  • Proficient in English
  • Object-oriented programming and web technologies
  • Familiarity with cloud computing technologies
  • Understanding of systems and databases
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence concepts is a plus.
