About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pricing Models & Platform Manager to join our Group Chief Underwriting Office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing, enabling, and driving profit and growth through Product Underwriting Strategy, Portfolio Design and Technical Underwriting Excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute on an enterprise pricing model strategy that enables a strong link to data, analytics, and technology.
  • Develop Pricing models with scalable languages and build towards globally consistent and flexible models.
  • Facilitate global pricing tool usage through sharing best practices and maintaining records.
  • Support the TDO strategy with regard to technical pricing.
  • Research new strategic approaches to modelling and pricing methodologies.
  • Engage with UW/Pricing to solve complex model problems, and educate Underwriters and Pricing Actuaries.
  • Develop a strong network of relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Change Leader builds strong partnerships and effectively influence stakeholders.
  • Proven experience within insurance pricing and core actuarial concepts.
  • Strong technical aptitude with experience programming in Python/R, SQL, and Excel/VBA.
  • Strong ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
  • Committed, self-organized, with strong attention to detail.
  • Fully Certified Actuary.
  • Extensive experience in building pricing & analytical models.
  • Proven experience interacting with Pricing and TDO leaders.
  • Experience in driving change and building relationships.
