Accounting Manager (H/F)
In light of the ongoing reorganization within our Finance department, you will play a pivotal role in assisting the accounting team in redefining the Order-to-Cash processes and optimizing cash collection across France. Our business model necessitates the management of third-party payments from French Social Security and mutual insurance companies. You will collaborate within a matrix international organization, ensuring that your activities align with both European and global strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the Order-to-Cash process, ensuring accuracy in matching orders and invoices from our retail locations to our accounting systems.
- Ensure monthly reconciliation of sub-ledgers and transitory accounts.
- Manage billing operations for our B2B activities.
- Oversee intra-group billing processes.
- Apply appropriate cash applications based on client types and regions.
- Process customer refunds.
- Manage the credit management process effectively.
- Prepare dunning reports for credit recovery.
- Collaborate with external cash collectors regarding targets and processes.
- Cultivate strong relationships with our financial partners.
- Serve as the focal point for the month-end closing process.
- Monitor monthly reports, KPIs, and internal control dashboards.
- Manage relationships with both external and internal stakeholders.
- Lead the teams responsible for Cash Applications and Credit Management.
What do you bring?
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- A minimum of years of experience in managing Order-to-Cash and Credit Management activities, including team leadership.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen; experience in retail is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel is essential; familiarity with ERP systems (preferably Oracle) and Point-of-Sales systems is advantageous.
- Fluency in both French and English is required.
