Job Description

As a key member of the Accor team, the Commercial Director will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and maximizing profitability for the Resort, Club & SPA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
  • Lead a high-performing sales and marketing team, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure exceptional results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including revenue management, digital marketing, and public relations, to ensure seamless execution of sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with ownership, CVB, community groups, influencers, and 3rd party travel partners to drive business growth.
  • Monitor and analyze financial, technological, and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities and stay ahead of competitors.
  • Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of competitor activity and refine Resort strategy to stay competitive.
  • Oversee the hotel's activation and promotion activities, leveraging all marketing mediums to maximize revenue and profit.
  • Provide leadership perspective in RevMAX, Sales, PR, Digital, E-Commerce, Operations, and Executive Committee meetings.
Requirements
  • Minimum of five (5) years of hotel sales, catering, or marketing experience.
  • Management experience as a Director.
  • Four-year college degree preferred.
  • 5 years minimum of leadership experience in a full-service hotel/resort: 4-star plus.
  • Resort experience to include multiple venues, i.e. club, tennis, etc.
  • Ability to travel on short notice and adapt to schedule changes.
  • Highly professional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to interact with executive-level constituents.
  • Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office and hotel sales and catering platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform critical analysis.
  • Demonstrate ability to manage people, including providing direction, delegating responsibilities, and being a culture ambassador.
  • Demonstrate outstanding customer service, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
  • Demonstrate the ability to be nimble, creative, and out-of-the-box thinking.

The salary for this position is $165,000 to $190,000 USD annually.
