Position Summary
We are seeking a Methods and Continuous Improvement Technician to become a vital part of our Loading Systems team.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Methods and Continuous Improvement Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing comprehensive manufacturing processes (including tube cutting, machining, welding, assembly, etc.) along with necessary documentation (checklists, toolboxes, etc.),
- Understanding the complete manufacturing workflow and forecasting tooling requirements,
- Creating technical documentation for welding and painting (including welding plans and selecting operational modes) based on client specifications and addressing any feedback received,
- Enhancing processes through the application of tools, equipment, materials, and work instructions,
- Offering technical assistance to production teams and subcontractors.
This role is suitable for you if:
- You possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field,
- You have at least 2 years of experience in metallurgy within a collaborative environment,
- You have a solid practical understanding of metallurgy practices,
- You are proficient in computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation tools,
- You are recognized for your communication skills, openness, and ability to self-reflect,
- You demonstrate meticulousness and a methodical approach,
- You have a professional command of English, both written and spoken.
