Job Title: Scrum Master

AXA Group Operations is seeking a highly skilled Scrum Master to join our team. As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for facilitating the Scrum process, coaching the team on Agile principles and practices, and removing any impediments that hinder the team's progress.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate daily stand-up meetings to ensure team alignment and progress tracking.
  • Remove any obstacles or impediments that may affect the team's productivity and progress.
  • Coach and mentor the team on Agile principles and Scrum practices.
  • Work closely with the Product Owner to manage the product backlog and prioritize tasks.
  • Organize and facilitate sprint planning meetings to define the work to be done in the upcoming sprint.
  • Encourage and enable collaboration and communication within the team and across stakeholders.
  • Monitor the team's adherence to Scrum practices and help them continuously improve their processes.
  • Conduct retrospectives to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance team performance.
  • Actively participate in relevant meetings and discussions to provide guidance and support to the team.
  • Support the team in maintaining a high level of motivation and engagement while promoting a positive team culture.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles and the Scrum framework.
  • Previous experience working as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to facilitate and coach teams in Agile practices and ceremonies.
  • Problem-solving skills to identify and address impediments that hinder the team's progress.
  • Leadership and conflict resolution abilities to guide the team and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Knowledge of software development processes and methodologies.
  • Experience in managing product backlogs and sprint planning activities.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and the ability to foster a culture of learning and innovation within the team.
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) are often preferred.
