Role Overview

In this position, you will collaborate closely with the Head of PMO within the Global Technology division, taking charge of both portfolio management and budget oversight.

You will play a vital role in supporting the PMO team in the development and supervision of the R&D budget. Your collaboration with business stakeholders will be essential in managing quarterly budget distributions and formulating multi-year budgets based on operational assumptions, ensuring precise cost forecasts upon project completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the Global Technology R&D budget by proposing and executing the financial framework.
• Develop reporting mechanisms, extracting and manipulating data to optimize investment ratios, ensure adequate maintenance of existing assets, and minimize operational costs.
• Continuously assess the alignment of the R&D Budget & Portfolio with the company's strategic objectives: Monitor and adjust the investment profile between Android and Proprietary OS and Solutions investments.
• Enhance the financing approach for R&D: Maximize financial contributions from CIR and CAPI, and optimize offshoring levels.
• Collaborate with senior management to construct the annual terminals budget and synchronize information with the finance department.
• Evaluate R&D agility in delivering appropriate solutions to both internal and external clients; provide and disseminate KPIs reflecting scope realization and project variables (budget, planning, costs, quality, risks, etc.).
• Monitor performance and implement risk and change management strategies.

Candidate Profile

You hold a Bachelor's Degree in science, mathematics, or a related discipline, complemented by a postgraduate qualification in data analytics or a similar field, demonstrating a keen interest in IT tools and systems. With over 5 years of experience in financial analysis, business administration, general accounting, and cost accounting, you possess a solid background in R&D project management. Familiarity with the electronic payment sector is advantageous.

• Sound understanding of budgetary management and accounting principles.
• Capable of preparing and delivering complex written and oral reports.
• Strong analytical abilities and innovative problem-solving skills.
• Quick learner in a dynamic environment.
• Proven capacity to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority and strong negotiation skills.
• Team-oriented mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
