About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Intelligence Specialist to join our Water Division at SUEZ. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a data-driven strategy to drive business growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and lead the Business Intelligence Water team to provide data and BI services to business units in the Water Division, aligning with the company's data governance strategies.
  • Structure, animate, and pilot a team of data analysts and engineers to model and provide data on the company's data platforms and produce BI reports.
  • Measure service quality by establishing indicators to track service delivery.
  • Prioritize requests based on data governance processes and provide data expertise to business units, contributing to the definition of value for each request.
  • Supervise the delivery of data objects from the team, ensuring alignment with expressed needs and guaranteeing long-term functionality.
Additional Responsibilities
  • During the initial months, maintain the existing data platform and associated applications, including:
  • Piloting the externalized TMA contract, managing costs in a logic of activity decrease.
  • Supervising the definition of a decommissioning roadmap and the transition to a new platform.
  • Contributing to user acculturation to data-driven logic and participating in data governance and roadmap implementation.
  • Maintaining department costs and piloting budgets to deliver value at controlled costs.
  • Evolution of the team and establishment of a team spirit.
About You

We are looking for a confirmed manager with a bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in engineering. You should have:

  • Mastery of analysis and reporting tools.
  • Mastery of SQL (Structured Query Language).
  • Mastery of data governance fundamentals and data management.
  • 5 years of experience in data service management or as a data engineer or data analyst.
  • Technical competence in Business Intelligence.
  • Professional English language skills.

You should also have experience in change management, particularly in digital transformation or data, and possess leadership skills, an agile, innovative, and collaborative mindset, analytical and synthesis capabilities, and the ability to work in a team and listen to and be open to functions not known to you.
