About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Planner EPC to join our team at SUEZ, a leading company in the water treatment and waste management sectors. As a key member of our Engineering & Construction team, you will play a crucial role in planning and executing EPC projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Contract Phase: Develop detailed project plans for EPC projects in the water treatment and waste management sectors, including treatment of water and waste in France and internationally.
  • Execution Phase: Create and/or update detailed execution plans for these same sectors.

Key Activities:

  • Develop a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) aligned with the project strategy.
  • Develop task and sequence lists in coordination with project stakeholders.
  • Identify and analyze interfaces with clients and partners.
  • Ensure accurate representation and integration of project phases.
  • Participate in the creation of BIM 4D models.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to optimize interfaces and provide timely information.
  • Identify and analyze critical paths.
  • Produce and communicate synthesis elements for strategic decision-making (float management, etc.).
  • Coordinate with Contract Management to ensure proper management of client and partner milestones.
  • Produce the Time Management Plan for the project, as well as narrative/client memory of the plan.
  • Communicate with all stakeholders to ensure consideration of all elements and their understanding.
  • Act proactively on these matters and work autonomously.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Develop a detailed WBS aligned with the project strategy.
  • Develop task and sequence lists for execution in coordination with project stakeholders.
  • Ressource activities in accordance with SUEZ's good practices and procedures.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to detail interfaces and provide timely information.
  • Produce the baseline and its narrative.
  • Produce EP and C S-curves, KPIs, and track their weekly progress.
  • Monitor free margins and floats, and analyze potential delays.
  • Contribute to the monthly report on the Time aspect.
  • Negotiate with partner planners to propose improvement axes.
  • Collect data and produce the planning and As-built documentation.

Methodology:

  • Participate in the improvement of methods related to the planner's profession and interfaces with Contract Management.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • At least 10 years of experience in EPC projects for infrastructure and/or industrial projects (water treatment if possible), with validated experience on EP phases, including 5 years in EPC planning.
  • Engineering degree or equivalent (Master of Science).
  • Proficiency in French and English.
  • Excellent mastery of planning methods and tools (Primavera P6 v20 and MS Project).
  • Good mastery of complex planning (more than 100 tasks).
  • Excellent mastery of Excel, Power BI.
  • Good writing skills and Office usage.
  • Navisworks & CAD viewers usage.
  • Good knowledge of PMI (Earned Value Method).
  • Rigorous and autonomous, with negotiation skills with partners.
  • Good presentation and communication skills (oral and written).
  • Ability to work on complex subjects in parallel (portfolio of projects in the tender phase).
