Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Capital Investment Project Manager in Chemical Industry to join our team at Corteva Agriscience.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project execution strategies in collaboration with Platform/Functional Leaders, Capital Execution Leader Engineering, and PALeader.
  • Ensure the Engineering Work Package aligns with the Business Case/White Paper and project Technology Implementation Plan.
  • Lead the project team to meet business and project objectives, deliverables, and Gate Reviews.
  • Define and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure overall performance expectations are met.
  • Provide primary interface between the project team and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure the asset involved is engineered and constructed to meet EHS&S and Process Safety requirements.
  • Partner with the Asset Owner and Commissioning and Start-up Leader for a seamless transition from commissioning to start-up to normal operations.
  • Develop and implement Project Quality Plans, including auditing work processes and deliverables for compliance.
  • Manage the Capital Accounting Authorization process from formal request and approval to closure.

Requirements:

  • Experience with project execution in Chemical or Pharmaceutical Medical industry with chemical-related production cycle.
  • B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Chemistry or equivalent background. Master's degree in General Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Basic knowledge of civil engineering and structural engineering principles.
  • Fluent English.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt Certification preferred, as well as a working knowledge of LEAN.
