Job Overview:
The Logistics Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing, organizing, and dispatching products. This position demands a high level of flexibility and resourcefulness. Responsibilities may encompass operating forklifts, following operational protocols, maintaining quality standards, and upholding company values. Depending on the scale of the operation, the logistics coordinator may undertake various tasks, with administrative responsibilities being significant in certain roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- RECEIVING
- Unload incoming shipments manually or with equipment
- Unpack and label items as required
- Palletize and secure goods if necessary
- Ensure consistency of products and shipments
- Verify incoming deliveries against documentation both quantitatively and qualitatively
- Complete or document necessary information accurately
- Log data for incoming shipments
- STORAGE
- Store items using appropriate methods and equipment
- Input stock movement information into inventory systems
- ORDER FULFILLMENT
- Transport items to specified locations
- Gather products based on prepared lists
- Package and prepare orders as needed
- Ensure compliance with established order preparation processes
- Verify contents of prepared orders
- SHIPPING
- Transfer orders to the shipping area
- Load products into vehicles, sealing them if required
- QUALITY, HYGIENE & SAFETY
- Comply with company hygiene and safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of equipment
- Contribute to maintaining quality standards
- Report any equipment issues to supervisors
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift weights up to 32 kg
- Capable of reading and memorizing postal codes
- Willingness to work flexible hours, up to five days a week
- Experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous
Additional Information:
- Full-time permanent contract, 35 hours per week
- Work schedule from Monday to Friday
- Shifts: 6h - 13h or 13h - 20h
