Your Role at Agriconomie
As a Field Sales Engineer, your responsibilities will encompass:
- Managing, developing, and nurturing a portfolio of farmer clients within your designated region.
- Promoting the company's diverse range of products and services.
- Enhancing client knowledge by maintaining and updating our CRM and DATA database.
- Offering technical, economic, and regulatory guidance.
- Advising clients on optimizing farm profitability while adhering to environmental regulations.
- Conducting prospecting initiatives to expand business within your sector.
- Staying abreast of the latest agricultural innovations through continuous monitoring.
- Organizing promotional activities and communications for clients, including meetings and technical presentations.
- Providing regular updates and reports on your activities.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Background in agriculture, with qualifications ranging from Agricultural BTS to Agronomy Engineer (BTSA, BTS PV, BTS ACS, Bachelor's or Master's in Agro-supplies).
- A minimum of 5 years of field experience in a cooperative or trading environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of agricultural products (fertilizers, seeds, pesticides).
- Proficient in sales techniques, including prospecting, needs assessment, negotiation, and quoting.
- Valid driving license.
- Familiarity with the geographical area assigned.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Adaptability, initiative, and foresight.
- A precise and methodical approach to tasks.
