Electrical Systems Specialist
As a key member of the ATR Engineering Directorate, you will be responsible for the development and integration of electrical systems on the ATR42 and ATR72 aircraft programs. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of these systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and integration of electrical systems, including power generation and distribution, electrical standards, and electromagnetic environment protection.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as FAR/JAR/CS25, CRIs, and IPs.
- Conduct electrical systems simulation and modeling to optimize system performance and efficiency.
- Specify, develop, and integrate systems and equipment, ensuring seamless integration with other aircraft systems.
- Release specifications and statements of work, participate in supplier selection, and monitor the development and adjustment of concerned aircraft-installed systems.
- Develop certification programs and means of compliance documents required for certification.
- Verify ATR and vendor service bulletins and provide technical support to the production line during flight tests and delivery.
- Manage technical relations with global partners and suppliers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Provide flight authorization outside the approved definition and draft airline information documents.
- Analyze in-service occurrences and evaluate the need for reporting, providing technical support to ICAO Annex 13 investigations.
Requirements:
- Engineering degree from a reputable institution, preferably in aeronautical or electrical engineering.
- Experience in electrical systems development and integration, with a strong understanding of aircraft regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
- Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
- Fluency in English and French, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
