Role Overview:
The Installation Operations Specialist is responsible for maintaining the operational integrity of facilities during assigned shifts. This includes monitoring equipment performance and optimizing material flow within the incineration systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the functionality of equipment and ensure optimal material flow in the incineration units.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facilities and report any irregularities to the Operations Manager, including unusual sounds, leaks, or other concerns.
- Manage the operation of incineration lines, including start-up, routine operations, and shutdown procedures.
- Utilize overhead cranes for waste unloading, ensuring proper homogenization and quality monitoring before loading into furnace hoppers.
- Keep track of product and residue inventories, performing necessary clearing, unloading, or loading tasks as required.
- Execute systematic planned maintenance operations, particularly for auxiliary processes such as fume treatment and effluent management.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the site at all times, including during construction activities.
- Document significant events in the shift logbook and record intervention requests in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Assist service providers during the loading and unloading of by-products as needed.
- Coordinate vehicle movement within the facility to ensure efficient access to loading docks.
Candidate Profile:
Ideal candidates will possess a DUT in Thermal Engineering, BTS in Process Management, or related qualifications such as BTS in Fluids, Energy, Home Automation, HVAC, or Industrial Control. A Vocational Baccalaureate in Chemistry or Water Processes, along with STL or STI2D certifications, is also desirable.
