Job Summary: We are seeking a Production Agent/Operator to join our team at our Cherbourg site. As a key member of our production team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes, meeting customer expectations, and driving business profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visiting and Processing: For each garment:
    • Conduct a brief visual inspection (cleanliness, damage)
    • Scan the barcode or RFID tag (automatic and/or manual mode)
    • Route to the appropriate destination (primary storage, sewing, warehouse, relaunch)
  • Receiving and Conditioning:
    • Receive items from finishing machines (LP and/or VT trains)
    • Identify and route non-conforming items (stains, poor folding-ironing) to designated containers
    • Know and apply the procedure for relaunching and re-washing
    • Store items by CAC, range, type, size, following site-specific procedures
    • Identify and group items by range
    • Store conditioned carts in designated areas
  • Laundry Orchestration:
    • Triage laundry according to the designated orchestration plan and supply the washing station with items as per the plan
  • Washing Station Loading:
    • Load washing tunnels and washing machines in accordance with established cadence and orchestration
    • Optimize sling and washing machine loading while respecting weight guidelines
    • Know and apply the EPI garment treatment procedure

Working Conditions: This is a seasonal role, ideal for those who can adapt to changing schedules. You will work in a dynamic environment, with flexible hours (06:00-13:10 or 13:00-20:20) that may vary from week to week. Multiple positions are available, with the possibility of extension until the end of the season in October.

Requirements: To succeed in this role, you should possess good physical condition, be autonomous, courageous, punctual, smiling, and rigorous, with excellent responsibility and reactivity.
