Role Overview.
The Construction Discipline Superintendent is tasked with overseeing the construction activities related to their specific discipline, ensuring adherence to project HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment), quality standards, and schedule requirements as outlined in the construction execution plan (CEP).
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Leadership in HSSE:**
- Ensure that the HSSE plan is comprehensively understood and implemented by the Supervisors within your discipline.
- Effectiveness will be measured by the achievement of Group and Project HSSE targets.
2. **Quality Assurance:**
- Lead the team to ensure the Quality Plan is effectively communicated and executed by the Supervisors and Inspectors.
- Monitor compliance with Group Quality Golden Rules to prevent violations.
3. **Achieving Mechanical Completion:**
- Ensure that all team members are well-versed in SBM's Construction and Completions processes.
- Supervise yard productivity and manpower allocation to meet construction milestones.
- Ensure that all construction procedures are properly reviewed and approved.
- Maintain comprehensive Quality Verification Documentation and ensure timely completion of all necessary reports.
4. **Collaboration with Supply Chain:**
- Work closely with Supply Chain to guarantee that materials are available on-site as required.
- Assist in conducting inspections of materials and equipment pertinent to your discipline.
