IMT Nord Europe is seeking a highly skilled researcher to join our team in the Centre for Digital Systems. The successful candidate will work on the development of hybrid beamforming schemes for sub-THz communication systems.
Objectives
The objectives of this position are to investigate state-of-the-art hybrid beamforming schemes for sub-THz communication, design phase-noise-resilient hybrid beamforming schemes, and integrate the proposed HB schemes with spatial modulations to enhance spectral efficiency and reduce required transmit energy.
Requirements
The person recruited must have obtained their PhD no later than 3 years before the contract start date. Candidates should meet the following criteria:
- PhD degree
- Strong knowledge of mathematical optimization (convex, non-convex)
- Good background in communication theory, signal processing
- Advanced programming skills (Matlab, Python)
- Good written and communication skills in English
