Risk Management Intern

The Asset Owner Office (AOO) at SCOR Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Risk Management Intern to participate in the enhancement of market and credit risk monitoring and compliance needs of the organization and its subsidiaries.
As a Risk Management Intern, you will assist in ongoing risk management and compliance monitoring needs, ad-hoc requests, and help define and develop monitoring tools for regulatory reports. You will also participate in analyzing profit and loss attribution for the SCOR investment portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in weekly and quarterly reporting on Market risk, including calculation of risk figures and production of risk-related reports.
- Develop P&L attribution monitoring tools in data visualization software (Power BI) with related documentation.
- Participate in ad-hoc analysis aimed at improving the market/credit risk measures of invested assets.
- Participate in the quarterly credit-risk process (IFRS9).
- Help produce specific reports for external stakeholders.
- Participate in ongoing improvement of risk tools, excluding ECL credit risk processes.
- Quantitative/development background, preferably in final year of studies (Bac+5) with a specialization in finance.
- Good competencies in computing/coding with knowledge of VBA, SQL, Power BI.
- General knowledge of financial markets and an appetite for ESG and risks.
- Strong level of English, both written and spoken.
- Rigorous, autonomous, and curious, can take initiative while also working well in a team.
