Job Summary
Nexans is seeking an experienced Enterprise IT Architect to strengthen its Solution Architecture department in IT infrastructure matters. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and approving architecture study requests for IT projects, defining the architecture, and following the implementation of IS/IT solutions for the Nexans Group's global applications and infrastructures worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle diverse requests from applications and infrastructure and analyze them in detail.
- Define the architecture of solutions considering functionalities, technical options, service standards, processes, physical and logical security, user experience, operational model, cost, market trends, and Nexans' current information system.
- Ensure that the solutions maintain their technical reliability as time progresses, and share it with different experts within the IT department.
- Contribute to the overall IS/IT strategy.
- Play a pivotal role within the Quality and Performance team of Nexans' IT department.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience as an IS/IT architect.
- General knowledge of IS/IT infrastructures (data centers, cloud, workstations, security, identity, network, telecom, collaboration, databases, etc.).
- Experience in an international, multicultural, and multi-site context.
- Fluent in French and English (100% of documents are written in English).
