Data Center Security Manager

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Data Center Security Manager to oversee the physical security operations of our data centers in the Paris area. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for maintaining the physical security posture of our sites, working closely with the security guard force vendor and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to security situations in a swift and calm manner, following the direction of the Cluster or Regional Security Manager.
- Support the on-site contractor Security team as the primary security contact during shifts, providing guidance based on existing Physical Security Standards and local SOPs.
- Report unusual events to the Cluster Manager in a timely manner.
- Provide guidance and direction to contract security officers to maximize the effectiveness of the Security department.
- Oversee access control systems and badge deliveries.
- Investigate security events via the alarm and CCTV monitoring system.
- Coordinate with the Security Operation Center (SOC) during security incidents or other security-related matters.
- Create and improve procedures, processes, and workflows using data and metrics to identify issues and areas of improvement.
- Develop specific knowledge of operational process paths within the Data Center to identify security vulnerabilities.
- Perform security inspections, audits, and investigations as required.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role in the public or private security industry.
- 3+ years of experience using data and metrics to improve processes and/or customer satisfaction.
- Candidate must have or be eligible to pass the SSIAP1 and TFP APS.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to company tools for data gathering and analysis.
- Metrics-oriented.
