Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Relationship Manager to join our team at ING Bank N.V. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, developing, and maintaining profitable multi-products relationships with clients and prospects in the Commodities, Food & Agri sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of French existing and new sectorized corporates, focusing on growing profitable relationships with large corporates active exclusively in Commodities, Food & Agri.
- Lead and execute the commercial strategy in coordination with key internal stakeholders, including Commodities Food & Agri Sector, products, countries, and management.
- Develop long-term relationships with clients and prospects by leveraging and marketing ING's differentiators, including sector expertise, product range, and sustainability-linked transactions.
- Ensure financial and non-financial risks management on clients' portfolios in scope, including KYCs.
Core Skills and Qualifications:
- Business school/University master degree in economics/finance, and/or CFA or equivalent academics.
- Minimum 7 years' successful experience in Relationship management/Front Office/origination roles, with a strong track record of prospecting and originating new business.
- Deal/transaction experience and proven contribution to winning new business/new clients.
- Understanding and knowledge of CIB products, credit analysis skills, and adherence to credit and compliance processes.
- Strong taste for an international environment and mastery of French and English.
- Commercial ease, ability to obtain commitment from others, and natural ability to motivate and lead a team of various professionals.
