Position: Operating Room Coordinator
Company: Hays France
- Support the Head of the surgical unit
- Ensure optimal arrangement of the surgical suites (6 suites including 1 for endoscopy)
- Assist in the organization of patient care (safety, cleanliness, structure)
- Act as a liaison among practitioners, personnel, and both internal and external stakeholders at the facility
- Oversee and track medical instruments/materials
- Engage in the planning and management of schedules
- Contribute to the quality assurance initiatives and risk management strategies
- Implement various operational processes and gather activity and performance metrics
- Manage supply orders for the surgical unit based on operational demands
- Participate in stocktaking and be available for on-call responsibilities
- Assist in onboarding new staff and oversee the orderly personnel
Qualifications: A nursing degree is required, with a preference for candidates who are IBODE certified and possess prior experience in a surgical environment. Strong interpersonal skills and inherent leadership qualities are essential.
