As a Molecular Designer in Crop Protection at Bayer, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative solutions to protect crops from diseases. Our team is dedicated to creating a sustainable future for agriculture, and we are seeking a talented researcher to join us in this mission.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new fungicidal compounds with high agronomic potential using digital technologies and chemistry science.
  • Collaborate with a global network of researchers to integrate in silico and wet lab chemical research.
  • Contribute to the evaluation and optimization of innovative molecules, pushing the boundaries of sustainability and performance.
  • Work closely with internal and external chemists to develop and implement new digital technologies, such as Deep Learning and Machine Learning.
  • Ensure high safety standards and compliance with laws, regulations, and directives.

Your Profile:

  • PhD in Organic Chemistry or equivalent.
  • Experience in applying modern Data Science approaches to chemical research.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with intercultural knowledge and understanding.
  • Ability to learn, solve problems, and structure complex tasks.
  • Fluency in English, with basic knowledge of French and/or German appreciated.
