Job Title: Operations Supervisor

Job Description

As an Operations Supervisor at Nippon Gases, you will be responsible for leading the department's employees by informing, orienting, guiding, coaching, and training them. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring operational discipline and maintaining a safe working environment
  • Planning and organizing production operations to meet quality and quantity standards
  • Managing and motivating department staff to achieve high customer satisfaction
  • Organizing regular work meetings and assessing employee performance
  • Training employees in procedures and work instructions
  • Managing disciplinary issues within the department
  • Complying with Nippon Gases' procedures and regulations
  • Drafting, improving, and revising applicable documents and training
  • Ensuring the correct application of procedures for your department
  • Solving day-to-day problems and informing your line manager of any peculiarities
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Production, Management, or equivalent proven experience
  • Significant experience in industrial production
  • Multidisciplinary technical knowledge
  • Knowledge of the operation of plants and machines
  • Internal auditor ISO 9001, 14001, and company standards
  • Fluent French with good written and spoken English
  • Ability to work with Office pack, JDE, TenForce
  • Clean criminal record
  • Safety training
