About the Role:
Spendesk Group is seeking a highly skilled Chief Compliance Officer to join our team. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our business operations are in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting to senior management and the board of directors on compliance issues, internal control, regulatory developments, and the effectiveness of our Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) program.
- Advising senior management on the compliance implications of business decisions and providing guidance on regulatory requirements.
- Collaborating with our senior management and business teams to create tools and processes that support compliance.
- Supervising horizon scanning activities to ensure the prompt and transparent dissemination of relevant information to the organization.
- Analyzing, reviewing, and acting upon data and Management Information (MI) representing Key Risk Indicators within the business and industry.
Requirements:
- Holder of a Master's degree in Law/Audit and/or Banking/Finance (Regulatory and Compliance).
- Strong knowledge of EU/French financial regulations, payment services laws, and relevant compliance frameworks.
- Excellent knowledge of regulations applicable to the banking sector and in particular the regulatory framework in France (ACPR): PSD2, Monetary and Financial Code, French Decree of November 3rd, 2014, GDPR, ACPR and EBA guidelines, AML/CFT directives, etc.
- Fluent in French and English.
