We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Quality and Safety Manager/Leader to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate the activities of the Project Quality and Safety Manager (PrQSM) team to ensure effective implementation of quality and safety processes.
- Anticipate and plan resource needs to ensure the PrQSM workload is consolidated and managed effectively.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive training plan for the PrQSM team, including qualification and certification programs.
- Ensure the application of the Development for Quality (DFQ) process and validate each milestone with the PrQSM team.
- Support the project team in ensuring project safety, quality assurance, and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Monitor and measure the performance of Alstom Participating Units (APUs) at the DFQ level and provide feedback to the project management team.
- Ensure that all risks and opportunities are identified and mitigated, and that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Master's degree in Engineering with a management background.
- Proven experience in managing quality tools and problem-solving techniques.
- Experience in project management, with a focus on quality and safety.
- Knowledge of railway industry standards and certifications.
- Fluent in English.
- Experience in quality assurance and audit.
- Rigor and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001, IRIS, CMMI, ECM) and quality tools.
- Experience in operational activities and documentation management.
- Collaboration and team working skills.
