About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce QA & Testing Lead to join our team at the American Red Cross. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our Salesforce applications and services.



Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage the Salesforce QA team to define test strategies, tasks, estimates, and testing execution to meet stakeholder requirements.
  2. Act as project leader and instruct and check the work of test engineering staff.
  3. Develop, implement, maintain, and enhance test plans, test scripts, and test methodologies to ensure compliance with system specifications.
  4. Perform in-depth and detailed investigations into data quality issues to discover the source of problematic data and suggest and develop solutions to improve/correct the data and reduce or eliminate the source of error.
  5. Maintain contact with outside vendors and 3rd party consultants in development and execution of test plans.
  6. Work closely with software developers to develop test specifications and build test cases to rigorously test product functionality and investigate all potential product test failures.
  7. Verify and validate defect fixes.
  8. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  9. Perform complex test engineering activities throughout assigned software life cycle.
  10. Document test results, analysis reports, logs, and metrics.
  11. Recommend program improvements or corrections.
  12. Hands-on contributing tester in addition to team leadership responsibilities.
  13. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
  14. Actively participate in design and sprint planning sessions, offering relevant solutions and input.
  15. Estimate the level of effort for stories and/or epics based on business requirements and knowledge of the platform.

Requirements

  • 8+ years Salesforce experience.
  • Management Experience: Minimum 3 years of staff supervisory or management experience (including HR components of staff management).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Salesforce testing required.
  • Experience with automated regression testing tools like Selenium, Provar, Copado Robotic Testing preferred.
  • Experience with DevOps Tools like GIT, Flosum, etc.
  • Understanding of the Salesforce product suite including Salesforce1, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud (Communities), and AppExchange solutions.
  • Nice to Have – experience with Training Services ancillary products including Appinium LMS, Skedulo, CloudCraze.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology and related tools (Jira) is required.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Ability to manage time and work effectively within short development cycles.
  • Ability to work extended hours/on call support as needed to support any major outages or off-hours releases.

Pay Information

The starting annual salary range for this position is $125K-$135K. We do not offer an annual bonus for this role.
