Motion-ISE is a technology-driven B2B and B2B2C enterprise specializing in SaaS, Artificial Intelligence, Analytics, and Online Marketplaces. We are in search of a Machine Learning Platform Engineer who possesses a robust background in developing machine learning platforms from inception. The ideal candidate will be responsible for shaping the comprehensive vision of our machine learning initiatives, particularly in relation to testing and product development. You will be expected to contribute creative solutions and innovative implementations while designing scalable and maintainable data pipelines, services, and products. Collaboration with data scientists, engineering teams, industry experts, and business stakeholders across the Motion-ISE ecosystem will be essential.
Role OverviewIn the capacity of an AI/Machine Learning Engineer, you will take a leading role within our ML/AI platform team, focusing on the design, implementation, and upkeep of scalable features and services that facilitate end-to-end ML/AI pipelines on the Motion-ISE platform. Your collaboration with users, systems designers, and developers will be crucial. You will engage with engineering and operations teams to spearhead the development of machine learning solutions for diverse tasks and projects utilizing a variety of tools and methodologies. Additionally, you will serve as a trusted advisor on best practices in machine learning development, working alongside the ML/AI algorithms team and other engineering groups to deliver cutting-edge machine learning solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop innovative machine learning solutions.
- Create proof-of-concept applications that leverage machine learning on extensive operational datasets, providing analytical insights to engineering teams.
- Collaborate closely with platform development teams to seamlessly integrate ML tools and solutions into high-performance production models.
- A minimum of four years of hands-on experience applying machine learning techniques to build models integrated into applications, along with experience in data visualization, analytics, and mining.
- An entrepreneurial mindset, strong analytical problem-solving abilities, and a quick aptitude for learning complex systems.
- Proficient software development skills in Python, with applied experience in Spark, Hive, and Cassandra; knowledge of R is advantageous.
- Development experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS, as well as familiarity with Linux and Docker.
- At least two years of experience in data structures, algorithms, and high-concurrency programming, including analysis of algorithm complexity.
- Familiarity with cloud development principles and patterns, particularly in loosely coupled architectures and microservices.
- Proficient use of machine learning and statistical analysis libraries, including GraphLab Create, scikit-learn, scipy, NetworkX, Spacy, and NLTK.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as MXNet, Torch, Caffe, and TensorFlow.
- Strong understanding of ML algorithms, including decision trees, probability networks, association rules, clustering, regression, and neural networks.
- High level of autonomy and influence to facilitate the delivery of results, addressing complex problems that involve multiple teams from data instrumentation to analytics tool development.
- A strong commitment to establishing standards of "Best Practice" in machine learning.
- Ability to analyze existing database schema and determine the impacts of migration to new target schema environments.
- Capability to explain and present machine learning concepts to a diverse audience, both technical and non-technical.
This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing for both on-site and remote work arrangements.
