Front Desk Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Receptionist/Concierge to join our team at The Magic Collection Retreats. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience from check-in to check-out.
Key Responsibilities- Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner, providing accurate and helpful information
- Assist with quotations, pre-arrival, and post-arrival assistance to ensure a smooth guest experience
- Ensure efficient reception operations, including check-in/check-out, and complete audit procedures as required
- Demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times, responding to guest needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Attend training courses as required to enhance knowledge and skills
- Develop a thorough understanding of hotel room categories, rates, packages, promotions, and other general product knowledge to effectively perform daily duties
- Maximize room occupancy by utilizing up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and health and safety legislation
- Act in accordance with policies and procedures when working with front-of-house equipment and property management systems
- Follow company brand standards and contribute to a positive and professional work environment
- Assist other departments as necessary to ensure seamless guest service
- Previous experience in a customer-focused industry
- Completed high school certificate or equivalent
- Positive attitude and good communication skills
- Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
- Excellent grooming standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Competent level of IT proficiency
- Fluency in English and French
- Previous experience in cash handling (preferred)
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and late nights
