Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our mechanical design activity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform technical tasks such as:
  • Functional analysis and development of technical specifications
  • 3D modeling of components
  • Material selection and process choice
  • Design and planning
  • Analytical and numerical calculations
  • Design of special systems and machines
  • Preparation of definition documents
  • Industrialization
  • Selection and management of suppliers and subcontractors:
  • External design (automation, hydraulics)
  • External manufacturers (fabricators, welders)
  • Project management of complex projects

As the activity develops, you will take on increasingly responsible roles, including leadership and management of teams.

You will also have the opportunity to play a key role in client prospecting and the development of technical offers.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A technical degree (Bac +5) in mechanical engineering, materials science, or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a mechanical design office, with a strong focus on mechanical design and close relationships with clients, preferably in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region
  • Strong technical skills and a recognized expertise in mechanical design
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Good level of English
