Business Process Improvement Manager

As a Business Process Improvement Manager at Kubota, you will be responsible for enhancing and developing business processes within the Spare Parts Business Unit, reporting to the Business Process Development Director.

You will assist all entities within the Spare Parts Business Unit with process-related questions, overseeing a wide range of processes in Europe, such as procurement-payment, inventory planning, order-settlement, warehousing, transportation, etc.

You will collect and understand current or future needs (requests) or constraints (regulations) of entities. You will be responsible for coordinating resources (key users, IT specialists, project managers) for process development and ensure project timelines are respected, making you the project lead.

You will organize training sessions for end-users within the specified timeframe and maintain all procedures or work instructions to reference best practices in Europe. You will be responsible for identifying and maintaining a network of key users for all process flows.

You will be a key person for any upcoming major IT upgrades.

Key tasks and responsibilities of this position are as follows:

  • You are responsible for all processes within the spare parts management unit (*but with delegation for transportation, sales, and pricing).
  • Align process flows with strategic objectives.
  • Ensure standardization and harmonization (in Europe for spare parts).
  • Design (or re-design) any new or existing business process: new supplier, new organization, new partner, new conditions...
  • Support IT/Project teams for S4/Hana as process responsible.
  • Evaluate the performance of current processes and establish a 'kaizen' roadmap.
  • Map all processes within the production unit (input, output, resources).
  • Set process objectives, targets, and measures (KPIs).
  • Lead any process change (evaluation, specifications, validation, UAT, training & Go-Live).
  • Maintain documentation and organize process training.

What we expect from you:

  • Master's degree and 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Fundamental knowledge of ERP and supply chain.
  • Experience with ERP updates and supply chain projects.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
