Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled IAC Contract Management Engineer to join our team at Aventa. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions, and providing commercial management of contracts in cooperation with Package Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Management:
• Lead all variations and claim management, including negotiation and resolution of issues/disputes for Contract(s).
• Pro-actively anticipate and avoid unexpected claims, including resolution of issues/disputes for Contract(s).
• Update the Variation and Claims register, and report to the Client's Variation & Change Committee.
• Prepare amendments in collaboration with the Client's legal team, and contractually analyze Letters and notices from the Contractor.
• Write Letters and notices to the Contractors.

Commercial Management:
• Perform commercial management of contracts in cooperation with Package Manager.
• Ensure Array Cable Contractor(s) acts in accordance with Contractual terms and conditions.
• Assess impact of technical decisions and consequent actions, defining actions along execution of the Package works.
• Manage and follow up of contractual payment schedule and applications for payment with analysis of contractual impacts on future commitments and associated risks.
• Manage pricing, commercial and contractual consequences associated with other contracts, in close collaboration with other Contracts Managers.

Deliverables:
• Regular Reports to the Package Manager.
• Legal/Contractual advice in coordination with the legal department.
• Payment Certificates.
• Reports.

Requirements:
• Fluent in English.
• Perfectly know the FIDIC (Yellow Book).
• Contract template.
• Good experience in offshore industry (wind + Array Cables ideally) working with this type of Contract.

Working Conditions:
• The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and challenging environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines.
• The candidate will be required to work closely with the Package Manager and other Contracts Managers to ensure effective commercial management of contracts.
• The candidate will be required to attend meetings and workshops, and participate in follow-up meetings with the Contractors.
