We are seeking a highly experienced Design Manager to join our Energy Transition department. As a key player in international green gas project teams, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our knowledge of overall compressor station design.
As a Design Manager, you will support growing client demand for studies and design of compressor stations for transmission, storage, and distribution systems. Your part will be within natural gas compression and transmission, as well as compressor stations for green gases such as H2, CO2, O2, and biogas.
Your Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain our knowledge of overall compressor station design
- Support clients with high-level cost and time estimates
- Technical lead on medium to large projects
- Work closely with the assigned Project Manager to ensure quality and deadlines are met
- Interact with clients and stakeholders on technical solutions and layout advice
- Become the focal point and mentor for compressor station design
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in engineering, preferably with a Bachelor, Master, or PhD in Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering. You should have a minimum of 10 years of experience with design and execution of compressor stations, as well as significant theoretical and practical knowledge of compression.
You should also have considerable knowledge of compressor station components and layout, experience working in multidisciplinary projects, and strong oral and written skills in English.
