Regional Logistics Director

The Regional Logistics Director will play a pivotal role in leading and managing the regional distribution of finished goods, working closely with customers in SouthWest (France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Netherlands).
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying future logistics needs at customers, transforming these needs into value-adding solutions, and driving business development while ensuring alignment and optimal utilization of competences and resources within the regional team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the Regional Logistics Team to drive high engagement levels and build talent
- Responsible for regional distribution in terms of service levels, operational costs, performance, and continuous improvement
- Drive simplification internally and towards partners using lean tools and a set of strong, well-defined processes
- Develop and deliver market logistics solutions while following and developing global standards
- Actively engaged in identifying, developing, and implementing strategic and tactical initiatives in a market context
- Drive efficiencies and productivity within the regional distribution setup, applying an end-to-end value chain understanding
- Facilitate regional and global initiatives in areas such as VOS, strategy deployment, business processes, performance management, and ways of working
- Accountable for logistics budgets and costs in the region
Requirements:
- Strong leadership skills in people management and functional areas, both internally and externally
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with multiple levels within and outside the organization
- Proficiency in distribution, distribution centers, customer supply chains, and third-party engagements
- Demonstrated collaboration across multiple organizational layers and with external partners
- Proven ability to execute business plans, strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives
