Groundworker - EV Charging Solutions

At Actemium EV, we're seeking a skilled Groundworker to join our team and contribute to the installation of electrical infrastructure for EV charging solutions. As a key member of our team, you'll work alongside a team leader and another Groundworker to prepare sites for our electrical team's installation of cabling and EV chargers. Your primary tasks will include:

  • Using a CAT4/GENNY4 for cable avoidance.
  • Reading and understanding construction drawings.
  • Operating trench rammers, road saws, handheld breakers, and other equipment.
  • Excavating and reinstating trenches through various types of ground.
  • Installing twin wall ducting, draw pits, and precast concrete bases.
  • Building shuttering and casting complex concrete bases on site.
  • Installing NAL sockets, crash protection, and lighting bollards.

Required qualities and qualifications include:

  • Punctuality and a strong work ethic.
  • Motivation to produce high-quality work.
  • Ability to work away from home during the week when required.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop skills.
  • CSCS, CPCS/NPORS, and relevant experience.
