Actemium EV is a dedicated business unit to EV Charging solutions. We are seeking a hard-working Groundworker to work alongside a team leader and one other Groundworker to install ducting, kerb lines, concrete bases etc, in preparation for our electrical team to install the cabling and EV chargers. The successful candidate will be required to work with their team to ensure the projects are completed in-line with the program and to our high standard. Key responsibilities include:

• Using a CAT4/GENNY4 for cable avoidance.
• Reading and understanding construction drawings.
• Operating trench rammers, road saws, handheld breakers etc.
• Excavating and reinstating a variety of trenches through various types of soft ground, concrete, tarmac and block paving.
• Operating various small tools including abrasive wheels.
• Installing twin wall ducting.
• Installing draw pits.
• Installing precast concrete bases.
• Building shuttering and casting complex concrete bases on site.
• Installing NAL sockets, crash protection/lighting bollards.

The ideal candidate will be punctual and hard working, motivated to produce a high standard of work, able to work away from home during the week when required, a good team player, eager to learn, and hold relevant qualifications such as CSCS, CPCS/NPORS.
