About the Role

The Polyglot Group | Business Services Provider is seeking a highly skilled Area Business Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for maintaining and following up with clients in your allocated portfolio, as well as prospecting and developing new clients to achieve annual sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop sales strategies to increase sales in the territory and review the level of activity of existing clients to develop and implement strategies for loyalty and penetration of new markets.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, distributors, installers, and other important organizations in the industry to seize opportunities and establish lasting and profitable relationships.
  • Provide technical presentations at industry conferences and events to enhance the visibility of our product and service line.
  • Conduct commercial prospecting, develop commercial and financial proposals, and participate in trade negotiations in collaboration with our team and hierarchy.
  • Provide technical support for the development of customized solutions and follow construction sites to ensure they run smoothly.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with our Export Director on actions carried out and planned, as well as successes and any difficulties encountered.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in sales of technical products.
  • Knowledge or experience in Civil Engineering, with a preference for applicants with relevant experience or contacts in the construction, mining, irrigation, landfill, hydroelectric, and oil and gas industries.
  • Civil Engineer with experience in sales.
  • Fluency in French and English, with another European language (German, Spanish, or Portuguese) being an asset.

What We Offer

A competitive salary of €70,000 to €78,000 per year, plus an annual bonus based on successfully reaching sales targets.
