About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our team as an Aircraft Modification Cabin Safety Certification Senior Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for the elaboration of certification packages for minor modifications and supplemental type certificates under DOA. You will work closely with our design and production teams to ensure that all modifications meet the required certification standards.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the design of modifications and ensure that they are compliant with certification requirements.
- Define certification basis and evaluate airworthiness directives applicability for each modification.
- Develop and maintain certification plans, including equipment qualification, means of compliance, and testing activities.
- Elaborate and author documents composing certification packages, including system description documents, substantiation documents, operational documentation, and instructions for continued airworthiness.
- Ensure follow-up of substantiation documents developed by equipment manufacturers or external providers.
- Act as focal point with aviation authorities during the STC approval process.
- Bachelor or Master's degree in a technical discipline, preferably aerospace education.
- At least 5 years of experience in DOA as a certification engineer for aeronautical activities - cabin safety.
- Good knowledge of aircraft environment and architecture, avionics systems, and equipment qualification processes.
- Awareness of EASA regulations and certification processes.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
