Role Overview:

The Global Compute Category Management and Compute/HVS Chief of Staff is responsible for defining and overseeing the product offerings, positioning, and pricing throughout the product lifecycle of a designated portfolio. This role guides both direct and indirect sales teams on product-related strategies and decisions. The Chief of Staff is tasked with planning business objectives for specific portfolios and ensuring these objectives are met through continuous adjustments to product-related strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the marketing, operational, and financial dimensions of assigned product segments (e.g., US Commercial Notebooks).
  • Formulate short- and mid-term strategies to drive market growth, revenue, and profitability.
  • Establish and lead a cross-functional go-to-market team to facilitate the execution of marketing, operational, and financial initiatives.
  • Develop sound, executable, and data-driven business strategies that align with overall revenue growth objectives.
  • Implement Program Management governance with operational rigor across functional interdependencies.
  • Organize meetings and special events essential for strategic alignment and team collaboration.
  • Enhance operational efficiency across Compute & High Velocity initiatives to improve profitability.
  • Identify and address immediate, actionable opportunities across functions.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
  • Several years of professional services experience.
  • Proven track record in managing a local team.
  • Experience in P&L management with moderate complexity.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong business acumen.
  • Leadership capabilities.
  • Solid financial and operational expertise.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
