We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities and Maintenance Manager to join our team in Newcastle. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Reporting to the General Manager of Production, you will be responsible for managing maintenance and staffing budgets, ensuring that facilities meet government legislation, regulations, and health and safety standards.
- Overseeing building projects and renovations to ensure timely completion and quality standards.
- Developing maintenance budgets, hiring maintenance crew, and negotiating vendor contracts.
- Controlling, monitoring, and developing stock inventories to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Coordinating work performed by outside vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Managing the repair and maintenance of 60+ MEWPs to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Master degree in mechanic.
Experience:At least 3 years' experience in a similar position.
Skills:- English mandatory.
- Technical understanding of electrical, mechanic, and hydraulic systems for planning and troubleshooting, including legislation.
- Proficiency operating modern maintenance technology, including ERP and CRM systems.
- Good verbal communication skills, including active listening and the ability to translate complex information.
- Experience in leading a team (1 to 40 persons).
