About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Avionics Safety professional to join our team at Ascendance Ft. As a key member of our Avionics and Flight Control system teams, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and airworthiness of our ATEA prototype.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Safety & Reliability activities, producing SysFHA, PSSA, and SSA documentations, and tracking safety requirement conformity.
  • Deliver airworthiness activities, producing required analyses for the "Permit to Fly" dossier.
  • Validate architecture change proposals.
  • Participate in safety and airworthiness strategy definition.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer, Human Machine Interface, Network Sciences, Flight Control System, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in Airworthiness (CS-23, CS-25, or CS-27) and/or Safety (AMC 25.1309, ARP 4754, ARP 4761) for aerospace systems.
  • Good knowledge and experience with DO-178C, DO-254, and DO160 standards is a plus.
  • Flight testing or system architecting experiences are a plus.
